Not sure if the Johns Lake post was a reply to my earlier one, but Johns Lake is not apart of the Clermont Chain. However, I get what you're saying as it is still located nearby in the Clermont/Oakland area.

I was using John's Lake as the response to question, due to it being closest lake
to Clermont area we fish. Kinda thought it was part of the "water shed" up there.
There is a bait store in the area of hwy 50 & hwy 27, they maybe able to shed
light on the lakes you have in question.

    Default Late Sept. wont work

I do not normally post any comments on here but there are many anglers in this area that will be on the road starting the last week in September for about three weeks for the Bass Pro Crappiemasters Classic and the Cabellas Crappie USA Classic. you might want to look at other dates before doing too much planning

Thanks Mike, will check in with Darryl for his view and thoughts...........
I had noticed that we had Sept. open other than first week...........
Had checked Crappie USA and nothing was shown in Sept.
Checked Crappie Masters and showed only Sept 30 - Oct 1st two day event
    in Alabama.

Probably to avoid everything Sept 17th would probably be best.

    Again thanks for heads up.

fishin813, you and and jammin should just come up and fish against me and daspeckhunter. Forget the pros, im not gonna be too willing to ask questions anyway considering a dispute on CDC is the only reason FCC finally decided to come up my way. since its mainly us teasing each other all the time seems like a fair deal to me. You could say that its my home lake but then again i have never had any help from pros on a weekly basis either, sounds pretty even to me

Have rechecked dates with Darryl and Mike Baker is correct - The Crappie Masters
on Sept 29th & Oct 1st, would interfere with the Sept 24th date & Sept 17th
would interfere with your hunting..............Some of the pros will be at Classic
min of week ahead of time for various commitments reasons

How about a neutral lake or lakes for both...........Depending on water levels,
FCC has tournaments scheduled for Orange & Lochloosa lakes on Oct 8th &
November 12th both of those are in you scope of fishing as you have been to
them most of us have not fished them. They are first time on schedule in many
years. We will have people comming from Ft Lauderdale, Sarasota, Port St Lucie
etc................Could have tournament within tournament type thing.
    Just a thought..................

im cool with either lake but there may not be a lake to fish by then though. water levels are dropping fast on those lakes, its pretty sad looking i think

i'm like you & a lot of others, hoping the lakes will make it, we need the spring
rains of June - July to help..........looked at them about 3 months ago and they
    were pitfiful than.......
Should we not be able to hold tournaments - notification will be made as to what
lakes will be put in as replacements...............

How low is Sante Fe & Rodman compared to other years ? I've never been to
    either ........

sante fe is fine, I think Rodman is good also, its level is controlled by the dam so if it were to get low im sure they would just stop letting water out
