Sorry they are very good eating. SOME PEOPLE MAY CALL THEM TRASH FISH but they don't under stand that a Sturgeon is the oldest fresh water fish. People are uneducated about Sturgeon. It takes a Sturgeon 6yrs to develope there eggs. If water condition isn't write she won't spawn. Then she absorbs the eggs back into her system and that takes for years. Then she starts here cycle over again. There sir is a little education about Sturgeon. Check with the Idaho Fish and Game about what I noteed above. Best fishing with you sir.

your a very negative person bout peoples fishing skills, why dont you just post bout yourself and what you do and not comment on whether someone can or has caught a sturgeon, salmon, or bluegill

    Default i caught one

I caught one the other day, and didn't use anything except 2 AA batteries, my remote and a tv. It didn't put up much of a fight either, but I did have to break for a commercial.

    Default Fishing

I retired 17 years ago at 53 yrs. old. After I retired I went on a fishing spree that lasted for 24 months five days a week. Baught a new Jet Boat and went fishing. Theres one fish I don't know anything about thats walleye. I've only caught two. My first was a 8 and a half pound wally out of the Columbia river. Second one was 8 inches thats it. I would trade a sturgeon fishing trip to learn about walleye. I will guarantee the person will catch one. My wife came in and helped me with my spelling.

    Friend Ken...

Simply, what we have here seems to be a failure to communicate... This is Crappie.com...

Sturgeon.com might be what your looking for - methinks

Then again I might share how I caught a 198# politician using a small hand-full of roe...

    Safe Fishin friend.

Pick Minnow, that is dead, cut up, is very good bait. We fish in fresh water for our Sturgeon and we don't have access to live shrimp. We use Roll mop Herring that you buy which is pickeled herring.:D
