couldn't make it without a good pocket knife, always favored a German eye. and a dear friend of mine, many years ago said I want you to have this. and handed me his knife. I don't know why but he did. I offered to pay him for it, and he said no, I just wont to give it to you. and I seldom use it, that I don't think of my friend from years gone by. it is one of the best knife's I ever used, it is a Rigid brand. the only one I ever saw.

Over the years I have carried a variety of knives, everything from a Swiss Army to a folding Buck. Two years ago a local sporting good store put a sale on Kershaw flip back knives. I bought several to give away and keep one or two for me. So far it has been the best knife I have carried in years. It hold and edge good and is tough but easy to sharpen. I think I have found my everyday knife. On Sundays I carry a small Uncle Henry since it is not so bulky in my dress pants.
