Yes your wife is your hero, also somebody above must of been watching over you two, sounds like that almost had a terrible ending, not that it wasn't bad enough already-glad you are still able to fish with your hero.

Two words for you...SLOW DOWN! It sounds like you got in a wild hurry when you heard your wife's voice calling out and this is the result. I've noticed that everyone's in a monster rush at boat ramps but it doesn't help them get things done any better or faster, it usually causes people to make mistakes like you made IMO. Slow down, take your time and think things through at the ramp and it will go your way. Glad you're OK!

Skweze, First let me appologize for what I'm going to say. That was the funniest, sad story ever. I'm glad you're okay and your wife was great. But honestly, you could have won on America's Funniest. I hope you took no offense. Thanks for sharing that, not sure I would have been brave enough to share that. Take care and get well. Also , buy your wife a nice gift.

IF it's a FORD, I think there is a Factory Fix (Free) for the: "Thought I had it in Reverse" syndrome.
I just wish I could be better at fishing. Or maybe luckier!:D
