No, the one I'm talking about is kind of a 'glow' red with black lines detailing the craw parts, with black eyes. I figured out how to post a pic-- I put it in the original post.

#7 Rapala Shad Rap in the gold shad pattern (color code SG). Incredible!
they sell on ebay now for upwards of 5/$65.00!!!

Storm Short Wart (small version of Wiggle Wart).

There is some hope though! Pradco brought back Silver Thread AN40 and Storm brought back the Jr. Thunderstick and Wiggle Wart as 'Originals'.

I sat up till the wee hours last night on ebay and a couple other sites. I'm boxin them up allright. I would have never guessed some of the junk i've hung on to over the years has went up in value. Alot of the crankbaits and lures are the ones that never produced fish for me and wound up chucked in bag or drawer in the shed, for 20 or more years. It's like they say, one man's junk another man's treasure...izzy:D When's that artical gonna be published, i'm needin some readin...

It was a minnow bait kinda like the long rebel minnow, about 6 inches long with 3 trebles. The thing would only swim about 4-6 inches under the surface, with a wide wiggling motion. I killed them with that thing, but lost it, and haven't found another since.

Anyway, I feel you pain. Ever thought about getting an airbrush?

i think you just might be talknig about the bomber long a... i have one of these. it works really well on a near topwater bite

    Default my favorite one lost

We can be a bunch of sentimentals.
When I was a boy, I really enjoyed digging through my Grandfathers tackel box. When I became a father and uncle, I found out how patient my grandfather was for putting up with that. He gave me a bass colored devils horse one time. I kept it for years. My son and I were on toledo bend one day. Fishing was slow. But, I witnessed a fairly large bluegill jump straight up out of the water. Judging by his size, I figured what ever made him jump out of the water like that must be big. I had that devils horse on and pitched it over there. I never saw a splash or heard a sound. It just disappeared. What ever I had on never stopped. I set the hook and the fight lasted 2 seconds; the line broke and he was gone with my devils horse. I realized later that I lost something that I should have had in a frame on the wall. But, I know Paw got a kick out of watching that from up above and is waiting patiently for me to get there so he can tell me I should have changed my line or something.
