I'll start with the funny one, since that will draw you in.

I think everyone has had the mishap off hooking something or someone while casting, whether it be on shore or in a boat. This incident happened when i was 7. I was out fishing my grandpa, grandma, and little sister. Didn't catch much, cept for a few 6 - 8" bluegills/sunfish. My grandpa was bound and determined to catch a big catfish. So he put on this stinkbait and went ready to cast, apparently he didn't have it on the hook correctly and with his side cast and not releasing the button too late. The stinkbait came off and slapped my grandma in the face. Needless to say she wasn't very happy with him for the next few days. But another incident that happened that same day, was that while casting he accidentally hooked the back of my khaki shorts. As a 7 year old, my instant thought is "Oh no, he is gonna toss me out into the middle of the lake!" I clearly remember screaming and flailing my arms telling him to stop, not to use me as bait. Course later on, a thought popped up that he might have ripped my shorts off accidentally. Now i realize neither of which would be physically possible.

Now for the mystery story. As most of you know, this is my first time spring fishing. When i see a fish with a fat belly, i think, boy this fish has been eating good, now i realize its a female with a lot eggs. But about a week ago, i was pulling up male bluegills. Now when i catch a hand size fish, i normally hold it from the sides behind the gills and work the hook out with the other hand. But when i grabbed these males, a clear stream of liquid would come from behind the anus. My first thought was "ok, either this guy pee'd on my hand, or released his sperm in my hand." I try not to think about it anymore, but i definitely started holding the fish differently after that.
