    Default A good fishing partner!

A really good fishing partner is hard to come by. I mean one that you can count on, easy to talk too and just plain fun to be around. It really helps if she is a real looker too! A really good looking woman with long blonde hair and turquoise eyes that can easliy mesmerize you if you aren't careful!
Now this buddy of mine isn't a great fisherman by most standards, as she isn't that well at jigging a brush pile 20 ft down; walking a topwater spook, or wrestling a huge blue cat without a little help. But; when she gets in the groove with her favorite lure, and there are fish in the area - look out!

Last week my partner wanted to go try and catch some fish, so I loaded up the fishing gear and headed out to a creek she really likes. The water was just about right for the Sandies to be moving in, and she loves to catch those Sandies. We got there and I tied on her all time favorite Sandie fishing lure, and found a nice deep pool, with a strong current swirling through it. I told her to get after them, and I walked down the creek a ways, so that I could watch the action, be quick help if she needed me, but that way I wouldn't be fishing her good water and crowding her space.

There were lots of guys fishing around us, but noone seemed to be catching anything. It was about 3 p.m., and I thought the bite would be picking up shortly if there were fish in the area. On her second cast, the water exploded and I heard that wonderful squeal of happiness as she hooked into a good one! I watched her closely, but she didn't need my help! She soon lifted out a big fat Sandie and dug out her a stringer. A few minutes later - WHAM! Another big splash with commotion in the water followed by the happy squeal! Another nice Sandie was put on the stringer! The guys that were fishing around her were now paying close attention to what this pretty blonde was doing, as she seemed to have the touch! However - nobody invaded her area, and let her fish in peace. Everyone was very respectful - after all, the show was worth the price of admission!
She was putting it on those Sandies!!! Twice she had her line broke, but when I yelled down to ask if she needed help, she said she had it under control.

I was down the creek a ways, and doing my own catching and having a ball myself, but there is just something wonderful about watching a pretty lady, putting on a fishing clinic! Numerous guys yelled over to ask her what jig she was using; what color it was, how deep she was fishing, and numerous other questions about her technique. She answered all the questions as best she could, but she was pretty occupied with her aggressive fish and all the action! She was having a bast!

Finally the evening was getting late, and I knew we had plenty of fish to clean. I had to call her off, before she wiped out the Oklahoma Sandbass population! She didn't really want to quit, and suggested she do some catch and release since the fishing was so good - but she also knew we had a long night of fish cleaning ahead of us. I also promised to bring her back the next day if she wanted to return, and she reluctantly agreed to call it a day. We walked out of there with a beautiful mess of big Sand Bass, and as we left numerous people had to walk over; look at her fish, see her jig, compliment her on being such a great lady fisherperson and even take pictures of her and her catch! She actually had more fish on her stringer than all the other fishermen in the area combined!

When we got to the truck, we put all the fish in our ice chests. Organized our fishing tackle for the drive home, and then I got a big hug and kiss! Now that is what I call a really good fishing partner!!!! It was a great day of fishing, and what fishing is all about if you ask me! I honestly believe that if more people spent time fishing: there would be less trouble in the world!

Oh yeah... I took her back the next day and she did it again! The water however was changing, and I knew our hotspot was about done for a while, and we would have to do some fish research and scouting. Oh those fish tasted good!!!!
    Good luck to all!

My girl Sandy is just like that. If the fish are around, she will catch them. She can look like a fisher person one minute, and be ready to go dance the next. She's a doll and an excellent fisher person. I would never want to fish without her....

Well don't hate me for saying this but I think she is hot and the fish aren't bad either.
