    there has to be a way to over fish these..its been done to many other species..
    is it possible to push a net in front of a boat? maybe a rotating net?

    are they good to eat

    Don't know about the net idea, dyamite would work better
    From reports they are not good to eat

    they also spawn 4 times a year. Big fish have caught with 12.5 gallons of eggs. that's 50 gallons of eggs released a year.
    Any guesses as to how many they spawn in that year? They need to be controlled.

    They're trash fish and need to be eliminated totally.
