    Default Prowler

I listed a post the other night about my disappointment with the BPS prowler trolling motor they had on sale during the spring fishing event, and wanted to know if anyone else had any input on this motor. And for some reason it has been deleted off this board. Did I hurt somebody's feelings?

No feelings hurt... The site went down and they lost some data that's probably what happened!

    Thanks for letting us know.

A deal thats too good to be true, usually is. I had a 40lb. Minn Kota that had more power than the 55lb. prowler. And it is almost impossible to turn the foot control without standing up out of your seat and giving it all you got. Very dissapointed with this motor, but I have been with most BPS brand equipment. Love the store, but for some reason I don't learn my lessons.

Great store to get tackle, clothing, etc from. But I shy away from motors and boats from them. I have not heard many positives either about the prowler. Thats probably why it was on sale.

I bought one. I am happy with it so far. What kind of problems have you had with it? Just low power and the pedal hard to push down. I admit it may have both. The steering is firm, but I've come to like it. As far as power, I do believe it may not have as much power as my old Motorguide 55lb motor. I hope it works out for you. Let me know if you have any questions.
