    It should. I still have a 535 on my bow with just a tm mounted transducer & it does.

    I think mine is great, easy to use and does show water temp.

    you might also check Academy, they have a HB 717 which is GPS ready on sale for $129.00. It is a dual beam with about the same resolution as the 525.

    The temp probe is built into the transducer.
