Default GPS adaptors for RAM mounts

I saw these in Bass Pro catalog......pretty good looking way to mount the antenna. The only thing that struck me as odd was what does one do with all that extra antenna cable?? The puck mounts about 6 inches from the input on the back of the graph and I know there has to be 10 feet of cord on a typical antenna that comes out of the box. Do they make a short cable antenna as an option?

Thats not what I was expecting. LOL About all you can do is coil it up something like in the picture. I've never seen an antenna with an option for a shorter cable.

Never heard of a shorter cable. That puck adapter plate--Yes I did use one for a while & found I was having some troules with picking up the GPS Satellites. The puck was covered in part by my Hmm 997. I moved the ant. about a foot away and the 997 began picking up more satellites and faster.
