Default My solution for bow mount X-ducer

My idea but design and built by my nephew who is a design whiz. I can get ideas but no way can I build anything or even design it for that matter.

All I can do is come up with a need.. Pull pins for quick detaching and mounting. I couldn't use a folding bracket as after I mounted the Terrova the amount of space was limited. ONly time I will need is when I am using electric motor. So I will deploy motor first and x-ducer second. Everything made out of aluminum and all bolts stainless as I am a bad weather fisherman. Not the way I plan it but it sure works out that way.:D

why do you need a seperate mount for a transducer, why not mount it on the trolling motor?

    Default looks

like a lot of work for what a dollar ideal clamp would do.

    1. No way for motor to snap transducer cable. If motor screws up.
    2. No chance for electrical interference.
    3. heigth can be adjusted to eliminate prop wash turbulence.
    4. Have had less than sterling results using the mounts on the motor befor.

Should have mentioned in first post. This gave me a use for my old 987C again. Sure is nice having the side imager up front. 997 on console and rig up front I should be prepared for just about any style.

On a lake with standing timber, it could be a nightmare.

Didn't read the last of your post. I could see where this would be useful with SI.

Funny when Canepole and Mvinc posted their versions no negative comments. Course that was back in Feb. Their versions are little more complex then mine but same basic principle. They also had more room on their front deck. German Company has website producing another version. May be they are just wasting their money and time too. But they are advertising them for 99 Euro.

Slimey slab- yes I couldn't get anywhere close to what the 987c was worth so I kept it. Used setup today on my local lake and am well pleased with results.

After weighing all comments I think I will stay with my idea.
