10’s processor is more powerful than the 7’s and bigger is better for more detail.
I have been looking at these units and trying to decide. Found the helix 10 msi g2n online on clearance for not much more than the 7 msi g3n.
I couldnt really find anything through specs and features that seperated the two units other than a different transducer. My question is what is the difference technology wise is there a noticeable difference in quality? I like the idea of the bigger screen and dual sd cards. Mainly upgrading to connect my i pilot link to my waypoints. Any input is much appreciated im ordering one or the other within the week help me make the right decision lol

Do you plan to run mega 360? If not the 10 for sure has my vote. I am running the g2n helix 10 now and it is great. Budget another $100 for a map card.

I do not plan on the mega 360. As far as map card i have a navionics card. I plan to upgrade to lakemaster at some point for the i pilot contour function. Im leaning heavy toward the 10 now. I think to gain the screen size will be worth every penny.

Since the 7 G3n is not a + model it cannot run M360 ... The 10 G2N will be a much better choice and will have a much better transducer.

Looking for the one that makes it all worthwhile.
Go with the 10 for sure! I just recently sold a 7 g3n and bought a 10 gen2 and it is definitely a huge improvement for me
