How well do the si's work in 8' or less of water? Will short stumps and foundations indicate?
Does anyone regret buying one of these?

Early to bed, early to rise,
Fish like hell, make up lies.
Shallow water is where these units seperate themselves from any other. They send a razor thin sonar signal out as far as 240 feet. In shallow water I look out 25 to 40 foot out each side of the boat for clearer pics. Also sometimes go down to just one side to scan banks for beds.
Go to the Unofficial Humminbird Side Imaging Group web site and look at some of the shallow water images that some of our Customers have taken with their side imaging units. I believe it will answer your question and erase any doubt. I think you have to join the site to see the pictures but it’s free.

I have a picture on this site somewhere. I am in 3 ft of water. And 60ft out from the boat you can see each bad. As the fish were in the beds.
Works great in shallow water.
