    Default 93 vs 126

I am sure this has been discussed before but I couldn't find it.
I am looking at upgrading the livescope graph, and was leaning towards the 126 since it will probably never be this cheap again. Anybody ever upgrade from a 93 to a 126? Is the screen size that big of a difference? I do bass fish but mainly crappie, I use a 32 amped lithium right now but I have noticed it not staying charged up as long so I will probably replace battery as well. I will put it on a millilumen graph mount, its not the most stable thing ever with the 93, just looking for feedback. Thanks.

Not upgraded, but I have a 93 at the helm and use a 12 for LS. Screen size is definitely a big difference. After having a 12 up front, I wouldn't ever want a 93. My 48 Amped lithium can run my 12 for 2 days with no problems. 32 should last for a very long day also. My 12 is on a Beatdown Ultimate mount and it is bulletproof! Hope this helps.

I upgraded from a 93 to 106 and then 126. The difference is extreme between 93 and 126. I can always see my jig and tell what kind of fish I’m looking at. The faster processor allows maps refresh rate to keep up with my wot speed when 93 struggled at best. Not easy to spend the money for bigger unit but you will never regret it

Like most, I started with a 93 and still use it for my portable unit. I upgraded to the 106, faster processer, then bought two 126, ended up returning one for a 106 just because the picture seemed just a bit clearer (abet smaller) which worked better for my ole cataract eyes. But yes you will love the 126

Started with 7” went to 9” now at a 12” each upgrade was worth the money spent that being said the 10” being a smaller screen with same pixel count will be a more clear less pixelated looking picture

Obviously screen size won’t be much bigger but in my opinion they look and seem bigger than the actual inch you’re gaining. The picture will definitely be worth the upgrade. If I was to do it over I’m not sure I’d by a 12” or stick with 10” and have the same pixel count in a smaller screen. The 12” eats a battery WAY quicker the 10” would be a little easier if I had to guess. Whichever one you go with you’d be happy you did. Also the 12” is pretty heavy if you ever wanted to tote it around. The 12” sure makes your jigs easier to find tho. Tough choice but the upgrade is worth it

If you use networking or mapping with LS, yes..106 has two network ports so you can network to another unit and run livescope without a box. The 106 has a much faster processor as well so it will run mapping, quickdraw, and LS without lagging. There is a difference between the two size wise, i want so badly to say it is significant but i just do not think it is. If you are simply asking if the bigger screen size is worth the upgrade over the 93, i don't think it is. If you are just getting your first LS unit or upgrading from a 73 then absolutely jump straight to 106. But 93-106 i don't consider worth $500+ (figuring youll sell your 93) based on screen size alone.
