I went with the heated Li time batteries for my trolling motor. If they cause my boat burn to the ground or stop working anytime soon I'll update this post. If you can afford Impulse, I'm sure they have good batteries.

my florida buddy made himself crazy overthinking, as he is wont to do, the whole thing, watching tons of youtube video's and then buying couple chinese batteries that were complete junk and then trying to get hold of anyone during chinese new year which made him crazier. Then he bought local from dealer he knew but they didn't know diddly about the units they were selling and finally got all his money back from both sources.
Their is a crappie com video of Slab coming to our rescue, lending us a spare Impulse lithium which worked great and when he called spoke directly to OWNER and got his battery solution from them with a nice discount. They are a CDC sponsor and good to know they are there to back up their product.
Personally I rarely use my TM on my fishing pontoon and just going to get a wally world unit that will take care of my needs. As I mostly prowl the docks and banks when I am ketchn.

I got a good deal with a discount on Epoch 12v 100ah batteries for my trolling motor. they have an easy to setup and use bluetooth app. I have fished for as many as 5 days trolling constantly for 4 to 6 hours and finally got below 40%. I ran several long stretches intentionally on 10 with my ultrex just to see the performance and what it would do to the % left. They are awesome.
I recommend

Want to be a little careful running Minnkota trolling motor on 10 for extended periods ( using lithium's ) as Minnkota does not recommend because of the higher voltage and possibly overheating resulting in in burning up the trolling motor.
In a series circuit, the current is the same in all elements.

I stand by my Ionic 100AH battery. Can't say enough good things about it.
Ionic 100AH batts for me.
