I use mine to run the Helix, lights, and pumps. All the lights on the boat are LEDs. If I become concerned I fire up the 4 stroke Mercury and let her run for a while.
Going through the wiring on my new to me boat. The accessories are hooked up to the starting battery including a Helix 9. I thought I might use my separate little lithium 15ah battery I have for the Helix but I'm not even sure where the wiring is. On my old little boat I had the wiring coming straight to my little battery but these must be group together somewhere. Is this starting battery enough to run accessories?

I run 2 graphs, led lights and pumps as well on mine with no issues but it’s a group 31 battery. I’m like Jack and run my main motor iffn I get concerned.

I don't think the group 24 will work out to good at all.
That might depend on what size motor he has on his boat. My 90hp Merc 2strk will usually keep my Group 24 starting battery pretty close to fully charged, just from the idling I do at the ramp & running around the lake. And that's even when I don't run more than a couple of miles away from the ramp. My big motor, the guages, and the livewell pump are the only things run by that battery, though, as I do not have a depth finder at the console. My LS has it's own separate battery & the Hook 7 runs on the trolling motor battery (68ah AGM).
AND .... just to be sure that my starting battery doesn't poop out on me, I carry a jumper cable.

Is there some sort of adapter I can get to attach those rings to this battery?

I have a cheap 24 series battery in my boat for cranking my 90 hp carburated motor an have both livewell pumps, running lights, and Helix 9 attached to this battery. Never had a problem.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
I would cut the rings off and crimp on the right connectors. They should be available at your local auto store or walmart.
