    Default Livescope Oreintation

I think i am in forward mode with the lvs 32. On a pole and facing towards the nose of the boat on the right hand side sitting in the boat. Is that where this thing is looking? Picture needs be rotated but see no way to do it.

QT .... at that angle you're almost in Down Image mode. Normal forward facing should have the top of the transducer horizontal to the water's surface. That's the way I have mine set.
If you want to see your jigs splashdown on the surface, tilt it up a couple of clicks. You won't have as much distance behind the transducer showing on screen, though, if that matters.

To my knowledge there isn’t a way to rotate pic in forum. I downloaded and rotated in my iPhone Photos app then re-uploaded to cdc.

Your transducer needs to go up one more click.

With my transducer set even with tuphe boat and the water, ,my screen shows up with the center of the screen looking to the right and left. I want forward mode. My screen is not showing my jigs, and showing no fish, but we were catching them. I have a 34 on my boat at home, however the boat I have in Florida has a LVS 32 on a Fishing Specialties pole and I am not seeing fish or my jigs. Not sure which way I should turn my transducer to get to forward view. Sure don't like the way it is turned now.

You say the center of the screen is pointing left/right. If by that you mean the ^ at the top of the screen has a near equal distance of view to the left & right of the ^ (where 0 is at the top of that ^) then your tdx is pointing "down" too much and your screen is showing the same (or nearly the same) distance to the front and rear of the transducer. If you click the front of the tdx UP a couple of clicks, then the 0ft mark should be closer to the left side of the screen ... and the screen should show more of what's in front of the tdx.

*Note* ... even when the top of the tdx is horizontal to the surface, you'll still be able to see what's under the boat (several feet), so if you're not interested in knowing what's under the boat, click it up another click (or two) and that'll reduce the distance shown under the boat, and point the cone more forward & towards the surface.

Also, as you probably already know, you really need to have your jigs pretty much in the center line of the cone for them to really show up good on the screen. (especially the closer your jigs are to the tdx)

Point your LVS34 in the same direction as the LVS32 is in your picture & I'll almost bet you'll get the same results as you're getting from the LVS32.

Like I said ... slabeye (Rodney) has his clicked up 2 clicks from horizontal in order to see his jigs splashdown spot ... so he knows if he's cast the jigs directly above the fish he's seeing, or even past them. It also helps with "finding" where his jigs are immediately, and not have to sweep the TM/tdx to find them as they fall thru the water column. I think he has it set that way because he fishes Cumberland a lot & 50-60' casts are often needed there, because the fish are much more spooky there in that clearer water.

I don't have mine clicked up above horizontal, because I don't flip my jigs more than 20-25' away. I fish Green (& occasionally Taylorsville) and haven't seen the fish swim away or scatter, even when I'm pretty much right on top of them.

The LVS transducer is setup for down view in the pic. For forward make the transducer level with boat or even one click up from level. (The end with the wire slightly lower) If the orientation in the graph menu is set to "AUTO" it should automatically change the pic on the graph to what you are used to seeing for forward. If it doesn't you may have to go into the menu to select AUTO or even FORWARD if you want.

If the transducer is mounted on the left side of a pole, the top of the transducer should be parallel to the top of the water.

If the transducer is mounted on the right side of a pole, the bottom of the transducer should be parallel to the top of the water.
