Fin .... but, I'd go with the group 31 (unless 7# & $20 is a deal breaker)

I use to use a group 29 Walmart battery for my trolling motor (42# thrust 12v) on my 16' ProCraft w/90Merc and it never failed to run me around the lake all day. I would have gotten a group 31, but they didn't have any at that time. Currently using a 68ah AGM, that I originally bought to run my Livescope setup, but moved it to the TM when I got a Lithium 50ah for the LS setup.

Thanks for the suggestions. I should consider lithium but it would take a pretty sizable chunk out of my expense money. With a charger and all. I'd have to save up some for a couple of weeks. It would be nice not to have all that weight in the back. Especially when winching the boat up on the trailer. Every bit helps.

Is there much difference in lithium iron and lithium ion batteries?
