Seelite has more points of movement than the Beatdown. The transducer pole stays on the frame on the Seelite and there is no storing of the pole on the deck. Beatdown makes the best fish finder mounts in my opinion. Get the Ultimate if you want a super sturdy and adjustable mount. I love mine!

I took an old/dead TM and cut the wire and the motor off it - use the TM as the transducer holder, can turn it, tighten, etc. No-one realizes it is Live Scope.

Fishing Specialities makes a nice pole with a great selection of mounts. I chose the magnetic mount for my pole. Might want to look at their offerings.

X2 on the Fishing Specialties. Very satisfied with mine. Very well made, simple concept, easy to stow and easy to deploy.
