I never really saw the need to until my lead battery would only last 5-6 hours and would be barely getting by on 11.2-11.3 volts
so I bought an impulse lithium!
and am very satisfied with it ! Great service nice folks was on my door step within 2 days
I have 2x10” and a12” garmin plus live scope and have yet saw it under 13 volts longest day out so far has been right at 8 hours.
Have read horror stories about leaving them charging while real cold but I left the charger plugged up and batteries charging when in got down 3 and no issues at all! Did read where the impulse was good down to -4 !
peace of mind and 10 year warranty definitely will replace the rest of my lead batteries as they go out with impulse.
Too blessed to be stressed!

So what size battery are you running? I will be running one 9 and two 10 plus livescope and was thinking about a 60AH.

Amped outdoors has been good for me. Their customer service replaced a broken charger. I have two 19ah batteries that I run in parallel in big boat and single in the kayak setup.

Amped have been good to me
I went with the 100 amp !
just because I find my self staying on the water from dust to dawn sometimes just fooling around so I wanted to have plenty for those 12-13 hours days .
Too blessed to be stressed!
I used an Amped 30AH for several years until I added another livescope to the front. I bought the no name lithium 100AH a year ago and have not had any problems with it yet.

I've personally never really understood the craze behind everyone buying these high priced lithium ion batteries? I'm just speaking from my personal experience and may eat my words. I run 4-29 series everstarts from walmart. 2 for the trolling motor, 1 for the cranking battery, 1 for livescope black box, garmin 106 sv and garmin 93 sv. I've fished (longlined) many days from daylight to dark with the livescope on all day and never had any battery issues? Hope my good luck continues. Trying to understand the true benefit to have the lithium ion?
