Default Setting up new to me boat

This might be a little long as I need help determining how to rig the used tiller boat I plan on taking possession of in a few weeks. It currently has a 24 volt Ultrerra up front along with the two batteries. It has a Humminbrid 9 G3N in the back that is linked to motor and is powered by the starting battery. No graphs up front as of now. I want to add at least one Humminbird graph up front and to link them all I will have to buy the network switch. I believe the switch needs to powered to a battery. Would it be best to power the network switch to my starting battery in the back and place the switch in the back? I also plan to add a noco genius charger up front as I plan to switch the batteries to lithium. Would I also run a wire to the starting battery from the noco or get a separate charger for the battery in the back? The current owner just lets it charge off the motor but I don't think I will be running that far a lot of times to charge it good. I do have a plug in charger I could use for the starting battery assuming I stay with lead acid for that. Lastly, when I put a graph up front should it not be on the same battery as the trolling motor. I do have small lithium battery I can use for that if need be.

I always make sure the starting battery is full when I head to the water. Since it starts the motor, runs the bilge pump and lights I consider it to be important. It is good practice to keep the graphs on a different battery than the trolling motor to reduce the possibility of interference

DO NOT power a Ulterra with lithium. Been there done that got the Tshirt. I have lithium on my lake boat and they are great....with the Ultrex. I tried them in my river jet with the ulterra.... The ulterra worked great for about 4 hours, then next stop would not deploy.... due to low battery.... battery not actually low just the way the ulterra sensed them. I went back to AGM no more issues, also moved the batteries to the back gave me 3mph and I like the way the boat sits better. Another suggestion, IF the Ulterra would ever fail to stow...DO NOT follow the instructions in the manual. If followed the Ulterra will need dealer service. The TM is only held on by 4 bolts, just pop the side covers off and remove them. Most issues are power related. Best of Luck and Congratulations on the new ride.

New Quest Ulterra took care of that problem.

So your saying the LifePO4 batteries were too small for the amount you ran it and drained them down to where the Ulterra did not recognize a low battery to shut the motor down but left enough to stow the motor?
