This might be a little long as I need help determining how to rig the used tiller boat I plan on taking possession of in a few weeks. It currently has a 24 volt Ultrerra up front along with the two batteries. It has a Humminbrid 9 G3N in the back that is linked to motor and is powered by the starting battery. No graphs up front as of now. I want to add at least one Humminbird graph up front and to link them all I will have to buy the network switch. I believe the switch needs to powered to a battery. Would it be best to power the network switch to my starting battery in the back and place the switch in the back? I also plan to add a noco genius charger up front as I plan to switch the batteries to lithium. Would I also run a wire to the starting battery from the noco or get a separate charger for the battery in the back? The current owner just lets it charge off the motor but I don't think I will be running that far a lot of times to charge it good. I do have a plug in charger I could use for the starting battery assuming I stay with lead acid for that. Lastly, when I put a graph up front should it not be on the same battery as the trolling motor. I do have small lithium battery I can use for that if need be.
