    Default Electrical Interference

I am running my LS from a 12v 50ah lifepo4 battery. Since the cleanest possible image is my goal, can I tell if any screen artifacts are being produced from interference?

I am using a THIS CONNECTION to connection the Garmin wires to the battery. The battery is in the same compartment as the Black Box and Fishfinder direct wiring.

Dan i used the sae connectors on my livescope system too. i built mine out of an amped outdoors battery & a harbor freight plastic ammo box. I also installed an sae connector as a charge port so i could charge it in the boat. Worked out great.

Myself, I like to minimize connections/splices, e.g. failure points.

If I was connecting a unit directly to a battery, I would use a properly rated fuse for the hot wire, and ring terminals on the wire ends to connect to the battery. Good crimpers are a must.
