will a brushless trolling motor be worth the investment over a motor with brushes to long line troll ? thoughts .

I haven’t used a brushless tm yet, but from what I’ve seen with battery powered hand tools, I believe they’re gonna be the bomb. Wouldn’t you know I just invested in a mega expensive one with brushes a year before I became aware that brushless was on the horizon. Gonna have to wait awhile to switch over.

I would think there would be less chance of electrical interference as brushes arcing can cause it.

I'm running one on the same lead acid batteries my Fortrex was on. The batteries last longer with the brushless motor.I haven’t one yet. Reckon that a brushless motor would mean that I wouldn’t have to buy lithium batteries.
