Some of the batteries have a gauge that can be plugged in to show capacity
I don’t have a phone app with this battery. I’ve read the these batteries should not be charged if it has greater than 80% capacity remaining.

From what I have read the BMS ( battery management system) is built in and automatically does what it needs to do.
An external battery meter like this should let you keep an eye on power used

No reason not to charge the battery beyond 80% unless it’s going into storage.
