Default 2d sonar from forward facing transducer

Did you know you can get 2d sonar from your Lowrance Active Target or your Garmin Livescope. Well you can without having to hook up to any additional transducer. Here are a few imanges from my AT2 yesterday. The 2d looks pretty good I think.Name: Screenshot_2023-08-23_16.10.21.jpg

How do you get the AT to display it?

I just went to the sonar page and chose AT as the source for sonar. I don't have any other transducer connected to my unit besides AT. Looks pretty good IMO.
I could even run a combo screen if I wanted with AT and 2d.

That is very interesting, I never would have imagined such a thing was possible. Do you have an option for displaying the forward distance as well as the depth using this option?
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.

I think so on AT. Of course the 2d view would not show a forward range.
I will do a combo screenshot next time I'm out
