Default LS size comparison - Lure to Fish

I can easy see a 1/64 jig head with an 1 1/4 plastic. When comparing the size of the small jig with fish, a crappie should be gigantic. That’s if the size of both display size equally accurate. The actual jig is smaller but the fish is many times larger. The display doesn’t seem to portray this as accurate as I’d expect.

    Why is this?

    TIA,
    Danny

The lead on the jig is obviously much denser than the fish, therefore a stronger return.

    MO,
    That makes sense.

But when I think about, this comes to mind. At times I use a ~1” piece of plastic (cylindrical shaped) that is threaded through the center. It is slid about a foot above the jig and serves to help me locate the jig. If memory serves me well it displays about the same size as the lead head jig. I’ll try to notice this when I use this in the future.

Used to be I could guess fish size on the Garmin. Recent updates seems to make this impossible.
Pros now say the same thing.
