Default Best battery for boat lights?

Going to do a little night fishing in a month or so.
I have a small green LED fish light and will have a 6" LED light on a pole to light the boat and see my floats.

What battery would give me the longest run time? Charging? Deep Cycle?

I'm thinking deep cycle but I'm not at all sure about these things.

A small lithium battery would give the best run time for the weight

When you say small what do you mean by that?

To size a battery figure how many amps you intend to draw for how many hours will give you a base line for how many Amp Hours you want to start with in a battery. It doesn't hurt yo oversize some either

You could go with a power box style.

Interesting. This may be the ticket.
As far as amp draw is concerned, I have no idea.
It wouldn't need to last more that 6-8 hours at the most.

    Thanks for the input!

2 LED lights have virtually no (low) draw on any battery. Just use a deep cell marine batt and youll be fine.

There are lots of videos how to build your own as well. Here is one.

I like this power box and with Impulse as site sponsor I will get this box for my other kayak when needed. Thanks for sharing Buckeye.
