    Default Garmin 93 sv uhd not reading at high speed


    Hey, I need some advice. I had a new Garmin uhd 93 sv installed and it will not read clear at high speed. It actually starts reading bad not too much faster than about 10 to 15mph. It's mounted on a 2022 Ranger 178c at the very bottom of the hull where the drains are located. Any ideas? Thank y'all for the help.

    Do you have a picture of it mounted? Could be turbulence or angle.

    Is it weak returns on side imaging only? If you have the 54 transducer, there is a common failure issue and Garmin May replace it under warranty. Mine had weak returns on the left side in 1120 kHz, but was fine at 455.

    Are you trying to read depth at speed or side image at speed?
