    Default New livescope

Man I just opened the box to my new livescope box and got the manual out of the garmin ultra echomap 106sv and it looks like a encyclopedia. Man how does one person remember all this.

Practice, Practice, Practice. I struggle to remember as well on the water.

You can get most of the basics from online videos. Then go use it and learn what you'd like to do better or in greater detail. Then the manuals or additional videos to fine tune what you're doing. As BC stated..... Practice, practice, practice! Before long, you'll wonder how you caught a fish without it.

Once you do the initial/on water setup there are not alot of adjustments you will be using.

My 1222 and LVS 34 arrived today. I opened the box, seen all them wires and connections, closed it back up. Going to get it installed and pay somebody to show me how to use it. There are those that can pick up quickly and there are those like me that dont have a clue nor have the time to figure everything out. It is my intention to hire a guide to show me how to use it. Settings etc.

Best one I know of is on Youtube with Garmin Guru. There are others, but he is tops.

I went to Youtube and looked thru alot of videos. My favorite was from MG Marine Tech. I wrote down all of the settings and a pad and added them to the unit once I hit the water. It took a little time to get use to everything but honestly once you have it dialed in for your lake you will only have to adjust four settings.

It seems like a lot and overwhelming but once you set it up and use it a little bit it’s pretty easy.

Yep it's actually a lot easier than you first think it is.
