Default Tight Lining with Livescope/Active Target

I know lots of people are now single pole fishing with LS/AT after specific fish they see and track till they catch them. While i like to do this too, I am thinking about setting up my new boat with front rod holders for tight line as well. I already have mounts in the rear for Long Line. I just like the idea of sitting in my chair and watching 4-8 rods in the front while watching my Active Target screen. Any input from those that like to do this is appreciated. I have not tight lined much in the past, only long line or single pole. I assume tight lining is better for summer and winter deeper water and moving slow, and over brush.

I still spider rig even with MEGA 360 and LiveScope ...

360 gets me lined up to sneak my spider riggin baits into the cover ... I still like the thrill of multiple rods going down at once ...

LiveScope allows me to target a fish that may not want to come out and play with my spider riggin baits ... these targeted fish I drop a jig in their face or a Ky rig with minners ... while still watching my spider riggin rods ...

I can’t stare at the LiveScope screen all day and not enjoy my surroundings along the way ...

When all l did was spider rig and long lining l ran LS on a pole with an additional unit on bow to run side scan which gives the ability to look for bait balls and fish off to the side where you can turn and go after those targets. It increased my catch rate for time spent on the water.
I went to single pole fishing 3 years ago now.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Same for me but no 360. Crazy to see how many fish are around all those poles then sometime you get to see them hit a specific pole on LS. Also found that when pushing minners and jigs, I’ll miss more fish looking at the scope instead of my poles!

I still use LS for rigging in the winter but use it to just set my baits at the same depth as fish. You can definitely miss a lot of bites by staring at the screen so I just make short glances but I always keep a casting pole ready in case I see a good one off to the side.
