    I'd say crank up the sensitivity like what you do with the rest of the electronics brands. .

    If you leave it on chirp auto/high youll see it as a foggy/cloudy section on the screen in a straight line. Auto-med will show it often too. This is in the normal 2d sonar view.

    This was a 73 DV in traditional mode, but the settings were auto.
