    Default Transferring waypoints?

I am taking delivery of a new Vexus boat next week, it will have 2 10" Hummingbird Helix graphs my question is will the 8 years of waypoints I have saved on my current Lowrance Gen2 hds units transfer to the new boat?

With some work I would guess yes.
    What HB units exactly?
    Which Lowrance exactly?

The unit at the helm will be a Helix 10 MSI+ GPS G4N*, the one at the bow will be a Helix 10 MDI+ GPS G4N* also going with a Garmin echoMap Ultra 106SV Panoptix system, Yep I checked all the boxes!

My Lowrance takes SD cards, and I am 95% sure I can download info onto them, question is will it load onto a Bird? Also the boat will have Garmin Panotix at the bow, but it wont be linked with the Birds.

You will need to download the free Humminbird PC program from Humminbird ... because HELIX will not directly recognize Nav data except in Humminbird proprietary format ...
    https://www.humminbird.com/support/s...birdpc-v-4-6-1

Export the Waypoints from Lowrance in usr v3 or GPX and import into the Humminbird PC program ...

Then use the help manual under the About tab at the top of HBPC to manipulate the waypoints (if desired) and transfer the waypoints to a formatted SD Card (32gb or less) ...

Then insert the SD Card into the HELIX and select Yes when it asks if you want to upload Nav data from the SD Card ...

If the upload is successful there will be a white popup that says Nav data successfully uploaded Xxx waypoints ...

HELIX maximum waypoint capacity is 2750 waypoints ...

    Thanks Rickie,
I will work on it after work tomorrow, I'm hoping to download what I need prior to selling the boat, I like the idea of being able to edit to waypoints before loading on the new units. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks Tom T.

Mt new boat should be ready tomorrow, I downloaded all 526 waypoints off my Lowrance gen2 hds units on to a SD card, and know where to download Hummingbirds pc download. Fortunately the buyer of my Tracker wont pick it up for a week or so. Wish me luck!

Load them into humminbird PC. You can use some free gps tools such as Easy GPS to convert them to gpx format if necessary before laoding to humminbird PC. Always keep a backup file on your pc. You are going to love the birds.
