Big Box versus personal sales
Brian at BBG Marine e-mailed me an exceptionally nice note saying he was not sure when Garmin was going to ship the LVS34 several of us have paid for and he would refund our money at any time. He encouraged me to shop for this product at other retailers (Big Box boys). I don’t think the smaller retailers get a break and it irritates me. Brian is so customer focused and often offers a veteran’s discount which I do not expect but appreciate. I have bought a Humminbird Helix 10 second Gen as well as my coveted Garmin 8610xsv from him and his service and shipping was terrific. I told him I was hanging with him and did not want to buy from Big Box City. Sorry, SGM, you will have to wait a bit longer for the LVS32 I am giving you. Dennis on Lake Austin.

Excellent man to do business with. I purchased an Ulterra from him along with a transducer that had to be replaced due to a damaged cable. I made the mistake of ordering the wrong one.
