    Default Humminbird HELIX 9 maps

Need to get a map card for my Helix 9. The base maps that came with it, are just that. Plain blue maps with not much info. Which card gives good info and has shading ability. I think the Navonics and lakemaster will work but which gives best info. Thanks, Don

I use lakemaster, actually the chart select because only fish one Lake and did not need to purchase the full card. If you have I pilot link or anything like that you will not be able to use Navionics because your trolling motor will not follow the Contour. If you do not have I pilot link then either one will work

I believe LakeMaster is made by Hummingbird for their units

Lakemaster is head and shoulders better than Navionics in my opinion for the lakes I fish.

I use the Chart select on Humminbird site. Cheaper for me to buy the few lakes I need then a regional card.

Thanks guys, I think Hummingbird now owns lakemaster and Navionics. I just need two lakes so will check the chart selects.

I only have one Lake on a 32 gig SD card, I believe with chart select you can have multiple lakes. Depending on the size of your Lake the pricing will range from 10 to $30 most of the time

Don't quote me on this, but if I read correctly on other postings you can download individual Maps. You can then go to your chart Tab and see individual Lake list.

I had looked into it a little bit ago. I believe that is correct.
