I haven't clamped the actual pole i'll be using yet because of painting it & still have to put the transducer on it but the bike stand is going to work real good. I can swing it more towards the front than i could having something right in front of the rod locker. I also redone the d i y garmin mount to accept a scotty mount & i added a sort of d i y bounce buster/ stabilizer to it for when lying down & running the lake then simply raise mount & tighten handle & start fishing. The pole will lay across the deck rioght behind my flipping seat on my stratos when stowing. There are also two holes that i'll put a bolt through with washers & a nylock nut on when i 'm 100 % sure on the depth i'll run the pole at then i won't have to use the quick screw handle at all.
