    Default Ram mount pole mount for head unit?


    Im wanting to get a ram mount 18 “ post to be able to mount the 93sv on bow & be able to lay down when running. Has anybody done this? Thanks

    Once again if I could get pics to post I would but I made a almost 30” tall mount that will fold back onto the deck when moving & then raise it up & lock in place when fishing. I have it primered & will paint it flat black & mount it to front of deck. It’s strong too.

    I think my ram D mount is only 12", I have not issues running with it up, but it does vibrate enough will shake unit loose, I do fold down when on the road (head unit removed) a 19 may be another story but handy. my 2 cents

    Did you see the pic above of the almost 30" mount i made instead? Sure beats buying a ram mount pole & the other parts needed to make it work & it's to long it's simple enough to cure with one cut & drilling one hole. I can loosen handle on back & lay down when running too. It's plenty strong for sure.
