I updated my unit with garmin's latest release and don't like it. I erased my previous software on my sd card like a dummy. Can someone please send me the file with last update for a 8600 GPS Maps. Scott

I'm aware of Garmin's warning but I personaly know multiple people who have succesfuly rolled back units with no problems. Garmin now has instructions on there website as to how to do it. Just be sure and follow instrucions and don't interupt unit while it's updating. With that being said I'm still in need of the Sept. 2021 update for GPSMaps if someone can PLEASE send that to me. Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
No sir when Garmin issues a new update you can view what the updates were which is what you sent me but they remove previous files from their website, which is why I need someone who wasn't a dummy like me and still has the previous update on their computer to send it to me. Scott
I’ve got a echo map uhd 73SV that has not been updated since I bought it last year around June! Is there anyway I can help? Copy program or whatever! I was planning to update soon, but sounds like I don’t want to do that now!

I should have my hands on 23.00 for my 1022 and 2.54 for the black box this week. A gentleman had the update so I sent him a sd card for him to upload it onto.
Don't be surprised that after you do a force rollback to the previous software version that everything does not look or perform how it used to. I've done several forced rollbacks and somehow things are just not liked they used to be. Good luck, hope it works out for you.
OK for you gurus try this out for size. I have 2 boats both with black boxes. I updated my SEAArk with new software. Today I moved my 8616 to other boat. I had a MUCH better picture with much less dead zone. I also had more clutter and ghost tree but I've learned to live with that. What was realy interesting is the head unit showed color limit from new software but no auot ghost reject. Means that since PLS 10 was not updated that is where that function is coming from. I can tell you for sure I had a better picture being able to see fish and jig MUCH better but again with more clutter. Hopefuly somone will send me the file so I can at least try and get back what I had. I have an unusal situation having 2 boats and being able to see on the water same lake same area how much of a different it made. Would have thought the software update would have been in the unit and at least color limit was in head unit but not ghost tree function. Scott
