Default Livescope transducer mount location - let's see them!

I bit the bullet 2 weeks ago and still haven't mounted the stuff yet. Here is the deal, I have my Ulterra and will not be mounting the transducer to the erratic trolling motor. I want to see where some of you placed your mount on your boat. I don't care if you are using LS, ML or AT... I just want to get ideas of where others put theirs. I'm even kicking around returning my LS to go ML.

I also have an Ulterra tm and using the fishing specialties LS mount. Not sure what you mean by erratic tm.
My boat is a zx170 seaark.
    Hope this helps.

I haven’t mounted mine yet but I’m using the same mount and putting it in a similar place as the pic above. I too have the Ulterra. I called MK and was told under no circumstances should I put that much extra weight on it unless I was ready to buy a new one.

The wind blows always here. TM that over compensates. My LS would never stay on target. LoL Livescope transducer mount location - let's see them! It blows so often, I forget the last time it didn't. Oh it was probably in the summer when it's 98° with 90% humidity. Livescope transducer mount location - let's see them!

    Fishing Specialties Bowducer
Love how quick it can be moved to deck and unhooked for secure storage when not in use.
Check them out. Quick shipment and very high quality product.

Here is a link to a gentleman that made his own mount and motorized, if your into to do it yourself even lists where to get the items plus building it does not look that difficult

I have mine mounted to my Ulterra. I originally went with the Fishing Specialties mount like shown above but I can't fish when I am constantly reaching to the pole and adjusting it. My boat moves around in the wind on windy days so whether the trolling motor was erratic or trying to keep me in place, I was still adjusting the pole constantly anyways. I decided this past Spring that I was going to mount it on my trolling motor and force myself to get good at boat control. I like my setup now and I can keep casting. It's not the greatest to mount to an Ulterra but I tweaked mine after watching a video on youtube and it works great now.

Very interesting. I think even with the battery, I'll be into this for half of what I paid for the Summit mount.
