alphahawk what is that you where over ?
I am in a lock. What is interesting about this lock is the grates in the bottom of it. Those grates are…as best I can tell… 4-8 feet deep. Many times fish will be well suspended above the grates but many times they will be at the bottom of the grates. When they are in the bottom of the grates I may sacrifice a few jig heads but it is worth it. A good day in the spot will produce 150 fish. Many times the fish in the bottom of the grate will be nice bluegill and then the crappie may be suspended well above the grates. Either way I spot lock and catch fish for about 4 hours then head home…LOL.
