Default How is everyone powering their Livescope and monitors?

Needing some advice or ideas. I am getting one with a 1022 Garmin display and want to power it separately from my trolling motor or cranking battery. I am planning to upgrade from my two GP 31 Interstate TM setup to a single 24v Lithium Iron Battery to lessen some weight and provide another battery space. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks, John

We use Dewalt 20v, so far so good, light charge fast ours are 2 6ah as that is what we have on hand for tools, but on long days have to switch out.

I run my Livescope & Garmin 93sv UHD unit off of a separate 68AH AGM battery. But ... if I had it to do all over again, I'd go Lithium & around the 30-40AH range.
I say that because the LS & 93sv can pull at >4a/hr at maximum output (& likely 2-3a/hr at normal output), so I'd like for the battery to at least be able to run the setup for 8hrs continuous use.

If you're going Lithium for the TM, may as well go Lithium for the electronics .... just be sure and have a battery charger that is approved for Lithium batteries & is a "smart charger"

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing but geez o pete they cost... I like the reduced weight as well. Once my stuff comes in I plan on getting it installed at HiTec in Benton, Ky. I am looking at the Dakota Lithium Batteries website.

I use the 93sv & LS and run the Amp Outdoor 30Ah battery. Love it all. Amp has some guides which should help steer you in right battery direction. Hope this helps.
