Console Mount Question
I own a Tracker Pro Team 175 and would like recommendations for a fish finder to replace myn4 in Lowrance. I would like mapping, side and down imaging if possible.
Later on ( maybe next year) I am wanting to upgrade to an ULTREX with electronics at the bow as well.
just looking for some ideas as I am not to electronics smart.

Let me start by saying I LOVE my Helix units! With that being said, I would stay away from the Helix 7 with SI and DI together. The reason I am saying that is because the DI on the combo unit is NOT a true DI. (As rnvinc states it...HELIX 7 MEGA DI/SI does not have a dedicated DI piezo ... HELIX 5 DI does ...)
This is not really an issue for me b/c I bought it mainly for the SI and I also have a Helix 5 that has a great DI so as I said, it works for me. Now I have a buddy that just bought the Helix 7 but with DI only, which is a good unit. But as the others have told me, go as big as you can afford, you won't regret it. Hope this helps some.

I went with IPilot Link, Helix sonar units (DI on the bow and SI at the console), and ethernet linked all of them, including my Mega 360. I can control the TM with my bow or console Helix 9. I can also see the Mega 360 on the bow or console Helix 9. Hard to beat the functionality of the IPilot Link, ethernet and Helix units all linked together.
