I'm sure there will be pros and cons to both systems, that's one of the reasons I plan to run both for awhile. All I really want is to be able to see open water suspended crappie from 20 to 40 feet in front of my boat, and see my bait when I cast to them without dead zones. If Mega Live can do that then I'll be a happy guy.

Could be running both is the ticket, I could see that being beneficial if the Bird does have strong points, just not seeing anything that looks like it will be well suited for the way I use FFS.
I am still kind of shocked though that they(Humminbird) hasn’t done a better job marketing it if it has the capability to be useful for serious crappie fishermen. None of the videos out there are doing it any favors IMO.
