What if you could buy an adapter that would allow any brand fish finder to control any brand of trolling motor? Would you?
This assumes that the FF and TM are capable of linked navigation.

It would purely depend on cost, and if the other brands had something so much better that I wanted to get that brand TM.
Odds aren’t good.

Not for me, I just don't want an autonomous boat. But, technology always moves forward without me. LOL
Since this would require software I'm going to guess it is impossible without the manufacturer's permission.
But yes I do think there is a market for that! I also believe people are becoming less brand loyal these days. They want the best tool for the job.

A couple other things to consider.
How often does a TM get replaced?
For me about bout every 6 years.
What percentage are using a gps controlled TM?
I am I n no way am trying to discourage you, just brining up logical things to consider.

Its looking very promising. Hoping to bring a device to market in 2-3 months....but this is sure cutting into my fishing time.
Once we have a board in production and a good chunk of software done, you'll see it advertised on cdc as an official sponsor.
