Mega 360 plus MDI Questions

BLUF I am considering adding Mega 360 to my boat. Can someone please help me confirm below before I belly flop right in?

I currently have the ultrex TM with MDI transducer built in. The TM ducer is connected to my Helix 10 G3N MDI on the bow and the TM and head unit are networked to black box. I have a Gen 1 Helix 10 SI on console connected to the black box.

I believe if I get the Mega 360 for the ultrex it will also connect to the G3N MDI but i will need a Y cable for the helix to also use the MDI ducer on the TM. Is this true or is there something I am missing or need?

I also believe i will still receive 2D and MDI from the TM ducer while 360 image and MSI will come from the Mega 360 ducer? Is this correct and is automatically happening just by changing the view on the head unit?

You must have a Mega+ Helix for Mega 360.
Yes, you need a Y-Cable to connect Mega 360 and Mega DI to a Helix unit.
Yes, 2D and MDI from the TM ducer and 360 / MSI from the Mega 360.

you MUST have Helix Mega +. You don't specify it. What you listed won't work. Your missing the +.

Helix 10 MDI G3N works fine for everything plugged into it via Y cable. It’s a plus unit.
