    Default 3 bank charger info

Just bought a boat that has a 3 bank charger. Is it alright to hook all charger leads up to each individual battery without unhooking any battery cables even though I have my 2 trolling batteries hooked parallel to go to my 12v terrova .
    thanks

Yes. Hook each set of charger leads to a single battery. No need to undo the parallel hookup.

Not sure about the Terrova, but the Motorguide Xi5 manual says not to charge the batteries while the trolling motor is plugged in.

Might check the Terrova manual and unplug at the bow if necessary.

I just unplug my TM every time I’m finished and hook the charger up until I’m ready to use my boat the next time.

I unplug my MK during charging. I have a onboard 3 bank MK charger, the boat is always plugged in, so T/M stays unplugged till I leave the house for the boat ramp.

Terrovas cut power when they are stowed, no need to disconnect.

Agreed. Been running the first gen Terrova on my boat for over 6 years now. It's hard wired to the batteries, no way to disconnect except the fuse. Dual bank Minn Kota charger been on there just as long. No issues from either.
