    Default Dual transducers on transom

I currently have a Humminbird transducer non-mega SI/DI on my transom. I also just got a Garmin Echomap 126sv mainly for livescope on the bow. It came with the GT56 transducer. I am planning on buying another cradle and use the graph at the console 20% of the time when Livescopeis not needed. So I am getting ready for install the Garmin transducer. Can I install on the same side with the Humminbird transducer on the starboard side?? Or do I need to put it on the port side?

HB SI “sees” all the way to the surface on both sides ... so some blockage may occur ...

Mounting the SI xducers as far away from each other as possible will minimize the blockage ...

I have two transducers on my transom. One on each side. I have a echomap 73sv and a echomap 53 dv I use for mapping mostly. I disable the sonar on it 99% of the time. I do get some interference if I have sonar going on both units. I would put one on each side.

I was thinking of putting the Garmin on the port side under the Xpress. I was hoping since the Garmin is a different frequency that interference would be minimalized.

Looks like a good plan. Tighten up those wires so you don't get a stick stuck in and kink a wire.
