    Default Humminbird trolling motor transducer mount question


    I ordered this transducer for my helix 7 mega di chirp g3. Probabaly a stupid question but could someone please tell me what this round thing is with the positive and negative connectors?

    That round thing reduces motor interference if your motor is giving you depth finder issues as far as I know.

    If you have a on board charger hooked up to your battery that your electronics are hooked up too, you attach that to the positive and negative wires feeding the charging wires of the battery charger to the battery terminals, even tho the on board charger isn’t charging, some still give off interference into your electronics. If you don’t have a on board charger hooked up to your electronics battery,,,there is no need to use it.
