    Default LiveScope Question

I’m looking at getting a 93sv or 94sv with LiveScope. My question is can I still use all the other functions of the unit, like Si, Di, and chart plotter?

If you have the correct transducer (i.e. GT54UHD or GT56UHD) in addition to the LVS32 (Livescope) transducer, yes you can.

The Chart does not require anything else to work.

Get the 93sv for inland mapping ... the 94sv is coastal mapping. If you get the transducer with the unit, yes you can use all the other functions along with Livescope. However, you will have to switch screens or use multi-screen option, and if you use multi-screen option then the Livescope screen is going to be smaller.

When I got my 93sv & LS from Brian@BBGmarine, I opted to not get the transducer for the 93sv so as to have the entire screen for LS only (& save a little $$). I already had a Hook 7 (2d/DI/GPS/map card) which I now use for mapping & marking waypoints.

I would get the headunit only and save the money you would spend for the extra transducer. IMO with livescope there really is no need for the other images.

The 4 quick keys on the right of the unit allows you to quickly switch from livescope to side or down imaging and map if you program them. I find myself using all of them when looking for structure.

I have my LS on a pole mount and am planning on installing my transducer for side and down up front also.
